At Dermalogica, we use three methods of clinical design to gather our results. Objective in-vivo assessments and subjective assessments help us understand the consumer experience and visible differences that can be made to overall skin health and appearance. Clinical experts assessed visible skin rejuvenation using a validated dermatological scale system that measures erythema post treatment, skin luminosity and skin texture. This was a randomised, controlled, split-face study of 32 females aged 30-70 years for 4 weeks following microneedling treatment.
