1983

Jane Wurwand, founder and chief visionary opened the International Dermal Institute to provide professional skin therapists with postgraduate training.

1986

Dermalogica was born. A product line created to improve skin health without using common irritants and ingredients that could cause breakouts.

1998

MultiVitamin Power Exfoliant launches, delivering maximum-strength exfoliation in the treatment room.

2001

Our iconic Daily Microfoliant launches and is still a best-seller to this day.

2007

Award-winning PreCleanse launches – the first step in the Dermalogica Double Cleanse.

2013

IDI turns 30 – training more than 100,000+ Professional Skin Therapists worldwide.

2017

ProSkin 30 and 60 treatments debut helping PSTs customise treatments around a client’s lifestyle.

2018

Dermalogica continues to be innovative with professional products and tools for the PST: Pro Power Peel launches and FaceMapping goes digital! ProSkin 30 and 60 

2019

Advanced Treatments are introduced including microneedling, dermaplanning and IPL.

In a tough year, Dermalogica was able to support our PSTs with Clean Touch Certification and Meaningful Connections.
